The most crucial and challenging step is to find published papers that use the required organism or cell line in experiments. For a long time, Springer Nature Experiments recognizes the concepts - model organisms, cell lines, and techniques in search queries that help researchers to easily find relevant protocols and methods.

The Springer Nature Experiments team regularly interacts with researchers to gather insights and help address the problems they face in finding, evaluating, and implementing laboratory experiments. One of the most requested features by many researchers, on Springer Nature Experiments, has been the ability to further refine search results by organisms and/or cell lines. We are proud to announce that we have launched these two new search filters on the platform.

Organism and cell line filters on the search page

For selecting protocols based on the organisms and/or cell lines, there are two filters on the search page. Filters allow the selection of any number of organisms or cell lines, alone or in combination with another cell line or organism or technique or other filters.
