The current outbreak of respiratory illness (COVID 19) is caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). The first case of the disease was reported in December 2019 from Wuhan, China. Since then, the virus has spread to different regions of China and other countries. Springer Nature Experiments joins hands to support the commitment to the global response by enabling fast and direct access to all the coronavirus related content.

We have identified and collected over 160 well-established protocols and methods on coronavirus. The content includes, but not limited to - the detection of coronavirus in various species, protocols on designing the vaccine, understanding the ultrastructure of viruses to design new drugs, etc. Together, the platform provides relevant and much-needed information to help the research community to contain the outbreak.
